Re-Opening

Hello Friends,

It has been a whirlwind 2 months of staying home and doing a mega pivot for us, business wise, while trying to sort out all the different ways to stay afloat and continue to offer you all the very best customer service we possibly can. 

Then...just like that...it is announced that we will be able to fully re-open our stores on Tuesday May 19th. The feeling is bittersweet. We are excited that we can re-open but we also want to make sure that doing so is as safe as possible. We will be spending today and tomorrow giving our shops a little make over, to get ready to welcome customers into the shop. The safety of our community and our staff is of utmost importance. The Hanji Gifts shopping experience may feel a little different than it was before but it will still be lovely. Just different. 

We know that our brick and mortar shops still have WAY more options of lovely things than our online shop. Part of that is because we still operate our stores with a simple cash register. We don't have fancy computer programs with our inventory information ready to just pop online. While we continue to try to get more and more product online, we appreciate your patience and your support. Online sales have been incredible lately. Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you! 

We encourage you to continue shopping online. We are still offering free shipping for orders over $50.00 CAD and customers within the GTA have been receiving their orders incredibly fast! Sometimes the day after I drop them off at the post office!

If you choose to come to our stores, we are super excited to see you! We just ask that you are mindful of all the COVID-19 rules  (as dictated by Toronto Public Health). Keeping a safe distance (minimum 2 metres apart) and stay home if you are sick are the 2 big rules to be mindful of, along with regular hand washing. We will do our part to keep the shop clean and safe for you as well. 

We have so much hope! We have so much love in our hearts! We know that this will only be our new normal for a brief period of time. We see each and every one of you as valued and loved human beings and we firmly believe that everyone needs to be treated as such especially during these dark times.
